Sichuan cuisine is an experience. Ate at Mountain House post Poor Things, which is not a movie I would say inspires a healthy appetite but had one nevertheless. (We almost got the mapo pigs blood and brains dish to stay in theme, but alas we were not brave enough.) Had mapo tofu for the first time and found it extremely appealing. The la-zi chicken was quite good too, but the peppercorn beef was INTENSE, it made the water taste different. We also got dumplings with chili oil, a dish I have never had a bad version of.
