truly we can learn valuable lessons even from earth's dumbest creatures

every night at 8 p.m. my idiot cat Q hops up on the chair next to me and screams in my ear. he does this until he gets bored then sits next to me. if I get up again, so does he, following me from room to room, insistently hollering, and if I go outside, he sits by the door and wails until I get back.

at around 10 p.m., regardless of how much Q screams or doesn't scream, I feed the cats.
