a manticore character named Imogen. i was getting really into trying to come up with an original design for manticores, focusing on giving mine faces that looked like doll heads or other painted facsimiles of human faces. i made a few variations on the idea but i think Imogen's is my favorite.

line boil animation from last year of my favorite cookie run cookie, scorpion cookie. i don't play the game nearly as much as i used to, but i am always interested to see the new cookie designs. nothing tops this little freako tho.

bard's quest 1 is a hard game and i still haven't beaten it though i think(?) i'm on the second to last dungeon now but that one is mad fucking difficult. anyway, i like these kinds of games for giving me the blankest of blank characters so i can have fun making more personality and flavor outside of just being names and portraits. all of the portraits i've made here are actually based on some of the real bards quest 1 remastered art character too!
in my own lore, Reslida is actually the party leader and tactician, she's in Skara Brae looking for her half-brother. Mymtast is Tobril's adopted father. Victoria has too many battle scars from taking all of the damage in combat but also her dog might be a woman that was transformed into a wolf. Cornaith is a gay white theatre kid.
