my housemate got their spamton plush delivered over the weekend and we learned there are some rare voice lines he can play. i had a very spamton filled weekend.

the rumors are in, i like clowns. finished this a bit ago but here's a design for a new clownsona named "Grape Jam" or just "Jam", or James if he's not wearing his clown regalia. im working on a few things regarding this guy but i just really wanted to post this sooner rather than later lol
my two pieces for the collaborative zine for my art collective! i have a lot of varied interests and i hoped to communicate what the majority of them have been in through these two pieces.
the full digital zine is available for purchase (minimum $2) on our collective's itch.io here. We were showcasing stuff at a local Minneapolis zine fest today which was really neat! (i didn't end up showcasing any personal work due to being the compositor for the zine and other work for the collective, but it was all worth it!)
i feel like i need to state that im really inspired by romanesque architecture but also the seemingly contradictory flatness and crosshatching depth that exists within medieval illustration, it's the two wolves inside of me. and then there's a third wolf that loves making patches and "illustrative" sewing work. i love being everything niche and nothing recognizable at once.
i wanted to share what the actual surface of the sewn piece looks like, it's got quite a topography lol which is why the "final" piece is a photo i took of it since i couldn't get it to scan right.
