looking back at old chat logs reminded me of the short period of my life where i felt like i saw homestuck h8te everywhere. what's weird in hindsight is that the number of people expressing their dislike of homestuck is probably the same now as it was then, right? in fact, it's probably gone up (homestuck's doing well, babyyyyyy). what could cause this discr- twitter. it's twitter. i sought out homestuck stuff, it gave it to me, and eventually it "figured out" that people being annoying about homestuck actually got a lot more engagement from me
