the album's alright. it tends to go everywhere so it's really only enjoyable as background music in my opinion. but i do wanna say this: the album cover for it is really drawable

in other news, i'm really sad to see this platform go. it's seriously been fun reading everyone's posts on here, and it's got me into microblogging myself too. if anyone following or reading the blog wants to catch up, i'm also on (in order of activity):

a day late posting this, the best and most heartbreaking christmas song, increasingly imo among the best and most heartbreaking songs period

Every year I hear something new in the songwriting or arrangement here. This year: Every winter as a child I chased the memory, which I don’t even think was a real lived memory, of the perfect snow, and every winter it remained elusive. Sarah Cracknell’s songs have a way of saying just enough to convey their metaphors and not a word extra; I hadn’t noticed that this song pulls in that same memory.
