are a culture i made up for a project i've been calling the phoenix marches, an alternate setting for scum & villainy that breaks a little harder from the star warsy milieu of its default setting. the revery are a group of shipborn nomads, who've spent centuries wandering the galaxy and have picked up an uncanny reputation. in the interest of sharing one of the funniest owns @cass has ever pulled on me, i include some brief excerpts from my writeup on them:

The Revery largely resemble humans in appearance and physiology...It’s [their] eyes, though, that mark them as truly distinct from conventional humanity; they run in a spectrum of iridescent, electric blues to soft lavenders and pale pinks — and all of them appear to be flat disks, pure iris, with no visible pupil.
