lain was an incredible show, nothing has altered my brain chemistry like that show did, even utena although it's close. it's so melancholic and confusing and weird but it makes sense in an abstract sort of way. it's truly something special. also i didn't actually watch it on the 3ds i watched it on my crt (i'm sure that would've been one hell of a way to experience lain of all things though)

In the right context this sounds like some Pink Panther tier slapstick detective snooping around ass music, but they play it at just the right point and with just the right context that it fucking destroys you.
