"What do I do for a living?
"Okay this is a little--well okay, do you know that town from The Lottery? Yeah. No, yeah, from middle school. That's a real place. I mean, Shirley Jackson hung out with us for a while, she took some notes, later we found out--yeah, no, we didn't really want her to write that story but that ship sailed on its own, and, mmhmm right, nothing really happened.
"Yeah! Yeah we still do the rock thing. Actually that's what I was gonna tell you, I sell the rocks. Spend all month collecting them, sell a whole bunch of rocks on Lottery day, pretty much live on that all year. People can get their own rocks but buying them from me is a tradition so I make a killing. It's a good gig.
"Yeah I've been known to throw a few from time--WHOA whoa whoa damn slow down, man. Obviously it sucks for that person, but for the rest of us it's a nice tradition, pretty chill. Keeps local business solvent wink wink."
"What if it was me? Never happen. Yeah, sure, my name's in there too just like everyone else, but I'm pretty sure they'd just redraw or something if it was me, I mean come on. I'm the guy."
OK WTF for real are you guys serious? Haha bunch of jokesters put it back in there, draw again.
OKAY WELL I'M, OW, DEFINITELY NOT SELLING YOU ANY ROCKS FOR THIS, OW
