By the end of the late 36th century, the energy demands of Gigantic Walking Mechanized Battlemechs have far exceeded any conventional means of power generation - even that of the highest capacity.

As such, the only thing that can power these titans of mechanical mayhem is harnessing the near-limitless potential of genie energy. In actuality, it requires more than one genie, because additional genies are required to be on deck for when and if the current power-producing genie gets tired. In fact, for any given Mech, it is recommended to have at least three genies available any time.

This is, of course, why we call it a "Few Djinn Reactor".
