The discourse around silent 2 remake being good or not or questions about resemblance are pointless given remakes are inherently creatively bankrupt. Until remakes come with a copy of the original built in they are pointless and a waste of resources.

In a similar vein to my previous rant about camera angles and the Klonoa remakes, I hate how the Silent Hill 2 Remake trailer dropped the harsh lighting in this scene. I feel like early Silent Hill games think a lot about lighting, especially given how much of the game is in dark, grimy areas where you really need to be intentional about how you light areas without losing the oppressive weight of the fog or darkness pressing in on the player.
