so when i'm lazy with memes i just go to one of those garbage meme generator websites to slap together a variation from a template. i searched for one just now and was hit with a lot of "AI" image generators. which just made me think that it's very likely people are using machine learning models to generate memes instead of even using a template, which put the image of a suddenly opening, horrifying, yawning maw of meme sludge into my head.
