💻 Sandman fanfiction - I have reached page 87 of Dream of the Endless/Hob Gadling sort by bookmarks complete only language English, which was done in some sort of wild fugue state so I have relatively few bookmarks but they are here
📖 The Mimicking of Known Successes by Malka Older - short novella that I am slowly savoring. loving it. very atmospheric.
📖 True Biz by Sara Nović - succeeds very well at: a 101 on Deaf issues/Deaf culture presented in very readable fiction form, doing some cool things with language/presentation

PLAYING
🎮 Midnight Suns - I have acquired a third deck-building video game and now have a separate one for each device. This is a problem as I frequently want to play the game not on the currently accessible device (Slay the Spire when I only have my laptop, Midnight Suns on literally anything where I can get closer to the screen... (accessibility fail right there: it is not possible to increase the font size to the point that I can read it on the TV while I'm on the couch)). Me having to awkwardly drag the armchair directly in front of the TV notwithstanding, I am enjoying the game, though the ratio of fights/"actual" gameplay to running around the abbey and having hangouts with teammates is skewed slightly more in favor of the latter than I would prefer.

VIEWING
📺 Silo - finished the season. loved it.
📺 The Sandman - I was aware of the comics & had friends who were into them in high school, but I remain Not A Comics Person, so knew very little. Enjoying it quite a bit. Have now seen through episode 6, which has unlocked a new ship and now I am deep in the Dream/Hob Gadling tag and having great fun

📖 Murderbot (Martha Wells) - I read the first one in 2018 and thought it was ...fine. Now, however, is apparently the correct time for Murderbot. I read 5 in 2 days (tbf, the first 4 are novellas).

🎧 my #ITPE gifts (still) - my brain has now unfortunately classified this as Work and therefore something to procrastinate
🎧 the audiobook of The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen - remains absolute top-tier KJ Charles
🎵 Madonna - will be in town later this month, so that's the work playlist right now

PLAYING
🎮 A Short Hike & The Case of the Golden Idol - (got stalled in the quarry in Tunic and went searching for short things). Both of these had been slightly too hyped for me so I found neither as good as people were saying (but still good)
🎮 Across the Obelisk - deck-based roguelite à la Slay the Spire, but you play as a party of 4 and there's multiplayer. it's one of E's favorites, so he talked me into getting it and we played some together (and I tried a little by myself). much more fun when I'm not trying to manage all 4 party members and have someone who can give advice (and money and shards for good upgrades).

📖 A Power Unbound by Freya Marske - just finished it. it was good and very full of plot; I think I could have done with slightly more character. (I think the 2nd in the series is my favorite)
📖 Daughter of Fortune by Isabel Allende - was poking around calibre for something to read and didn't get past the As. 15% in, loving the writing.

LISTENING
🎧 I got something like 22 hours of podfic from @opalsong for #ITPE, so I've been working my way through that (and attempting to not just listen to Crossed Paths on repeat but I love it so much)

PLAYING
♟ Arkham Horror - just started a new campaign, our 3rd. I'm Ursula Downs this time and having fun running around grabbing clues while the rest of the party fights things
🎮 Tunic - I am a cute little fox and I love everything about it

📺 Shadow & Bone - season 2 just dropped, I've heard extremely medium things about the plot but I still love all their faces. (I've seen 2 episodes so far, both while on the bus)

📖 The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen by KJ Charles - finished it, loved it. easily top 5 KJC. great and expansive cast of characters, good sense of place.

🎵 Stevie Nicks/SZA/Carrie Underwood - were all in Seattle last week, which made work really stressful, so I chucked all their discographies into one playlist and put it on shuffle, which shockingly turned out great

♟ Terraforming Mars - a new game for my game group, we've only played it once but it was a hit

🎙 a simple thing - my enormous WIP of a wonderful, amazing fic that I am super proud of myself for attempting but extremely conscious of the fact that it's going to consume my every waking hour through the end of the year (and if this ends up being the thing that finally gets me to pursue getting an ADHD diagnosis I will laugh and also cry)
