SammyRainbowCat reached out to me a while back as I was getting geared up to start taking commissions on the reg again, and asked me if I'd be up to taking on a character design project for it.
I said sure, not knowing what was in store for me.
It asked me to help them with a design for Asher, their albino, Jewish, nonbinary monitor lizard.
This was a little bit of a challenge that took me out of my comfort zone! That said, it was a heck of a lot of fun working with Sammy on this; it basically gave me free reign on the design with very minimal requests for alterations, so I decided to throw in a quick little extra sketch based off of an idea it mentioned to me while describing the design to me.
They really like bugs.
