Sometimes I think white astronomers are the most sensitive of all the sciences, they seem to have this idea that astronomy is apolitical and free from white supremacy but it's very much not
I mean I don't expect white astronomers to constantly be talking about the colonialism and white supremacy in astronomy but I feel like so many of them don't even realize it exists
