one of my favourite pieces of pokemon media is pokemon play it!, an old version of the trading card game for pc. the game itself is pretty bad, but the memorable thing about it is the mostly, as far as i know, unique cries for each pokemon. they largely fall into three groups:

• cool
• just the pokemon's name like in the anime
• downright bizarre
