it's been said before many times but I do not think it should be left unsaid now that I'm dealing with the problem too: the Nintendo 64 controller is bad, y'all

this post was just about the layout, with regard to a third party modern ish but otherwise extremely similar controller, but a refurbished original N64 controller I ordered just arrived. why does the analog stick feel like that. it doesn't feel old and worn down, it feels clacky. mechanical. this doesn't feel like any analog stick I've ever used. I think this is a spring loaded ball mouse attached to a stick
