I think i've identified another thing thats kinda snagging my Internal energy to write "Main story" stuff in the Morphic Korps setting

To like, do some proper Korps stuff and like, touch on the big plot events we've had cooking for years, I gotta depict the Bad Shit and Bigotry and Evils Of The American Government And Right Wing ETC that would entail to some degree

But current events Have shown me such, distressing degrees to how banal and absurdly evil, the absolute casual cruelty of The Bad that like. If I tried to write it, it would both feel too real and Completely unbelievably over the top at the same time.

Like it'd both be emotionally exhausting to write realistically, but also constantly feel like I'm writing unrealistically because these kinds of monsters are so actually cartoonishly evil in real life

Does that make sense?
