i think a major thing with the current state of capitalism is that it keeps pushing more and more work onto people, work they are doing for higher powers and not themselves, making every day a rush, and smaller personal skills, or just everyday practices that take more time, just have to fall by the wayside

even rest and relaxation is a rush of hyper focus and intense stimulation
