I meant to post about this yesterday after I got home and never got around to it because I was tuckered out and preoccupied with various other things, but:
I had an appointment with a specialist yesterday afternoon and, so long as there's nothing fucky/concerning that shows up when I get my bloodwork done (still gotta schedule that but I have the paperwork), I should be starting HRT in early March!!!!! 
Okay so I don't know exactly what happened but at some point this morning I mumbled something to myself and then immediately started freaking the fuck out because for some inexplicable reason my voice came out sounding way more feminine than I'm used to??? And then proceeded to keep sounding feminine?????????? HOLY SHIT??????????????
I think what happened is that I accidentally spoke from where my nasal passage opens into the roof of my mouth instead of from my throat and the end result was my voice sounding way more femme than usual, but I can't figure out:
tfw you're trying to sleep but then you start grinning and giggling because it suddenly hit you just how happy you are to get to live as a girl 
I would have posted this earlier when I was actually trying to fall asleep but I realized continuing to use my phone would be counterproductive to my goal of actually, y'know, fucking sleeping
On a related note: anyone else ever been hit by an unexpected burst of gender euphoria + excitement so hard that it basically short-circuits your brain and you can't do much other than go "holyshitholyshitholyshit, shit, shit, shit, fuck, holy SHIT, holy shit?" under your breath for several seconds? Had this happen more than once over the past several days, usually related to realizing things I could do with my look (hair styling, outfits, etc.) that I think would be really fucking cute, and lemme tell ya, it's certainly an experience to have your mind well and truly blown like that
