the fact that the MBTA is dismantling its trolleybus network to instead run diesel (for now) and battery based electric buses after is making me want to scream. why are you doing this. it has no advantages compared to trolleybuses. making the batteries is environmentally awful, they cost a lot more per bus, they use diesel heaters in the winter (which is LONG in the MA bay area!!), literally why
