i'm not committing yet to giving mererid a bob but it is another design feature i found myself missing from mihri. the last outfit i did for her was extremely cute but felt later in historical inspiration than i really wanted to go for. this one is inspired by the designs of the dancers on the sutton hoo helmet

i think i do need to come up with some kind of facepaint design for mererid... i miss that aspect of mihri's design on her but i want something different than. the ffxiv one.

subject to tweaking or replacement. i was attempting to come up with something thematically relevant but not appropriative and tentatively settled on turning the dragon crest of the sutton hoo helmet upside down, stripping it down to shapes, and adding some circles (moons). i may take off the nose but then that's almost just ffxiv again
