A wolf at the hearth drives away ten at the field.
—saying common to villages in the petty kingdoms of Ynys Cantrevi, because nothing makes a better livestock guardian than one person who can turn into a wolf many times larger than any non-human one

i am still trying to decide whether to make twilight gest (welsh mythology-inspired original fiction project) a webcomic (feel like i'm struggling with sequential art) or an illustrated webnovel but regardless it will be on a neocities site with vaguely shitty html, as is the natural home of weird indie lesbian fiction
trying more realistic proportions but i think i like my normal style of drawing faces better... also i'm tweaking mererid's outfit again. it's fine. i can't stop myself from giving outfits spats even if these are secret socks spats
the dragon's dogma ii character creator is both free and really detailed... i made my early medieval werewolf/ffxiv catgirl real. i really like how customizable the body types are and that there's actually elderly skin textures (the latter not displayed here)
adding to the twilight gest oc collection with mererid's girlfriend/other main character orphne amraut! she is also a werewolf, hence the shared yellow eyes, although her family is a more recent werewolf lineage so their hair hasn't tended towards wolf-grey yet.
this character creator is really good for envisioning my ocs in a very realistic style.
and rounding out the trio with elaine! who is not a werewolf, but is accursed by portents and visions.
okay final twilight gest main cast member: arthvael ap rhiadav ap gwydyon, prince of gwynva and y tir teg, and also a seven foot tall jacked elf. he deeply deserves an ass-kicking
