the dragon's dogma ii character creator is both free and really detailed... i made my early medieval werewolf/ffxiv catgirl real. i really like how customizable the body types are and that there's actually elderly skin textures (the latter not displayed here)

adding to the twilight gest oc collection with mererid's girlfriend/other main character orphne amraut! she is also a werewolf, hence the shared yellow eyes, although her family is a more recent werewolf lineage so their hair hasn't tended towards wolf-grey yet.

this character creator is really good for envisioning my ocs in a very realistic style.

i would like to post more of my art here maybe so this is mererid verch vanw (middle welsh used v where modern welsh uses f, so "verch" is identical to modern "ferch," the mutated form of "daughter"). she's a werewolf and a self-declared knight errant.

Deep in the green woods, when noon brightens sky
She rests ‘til high comes the moon
For Mererid hunts in gloom

Alone, tracking for three nights, her steps soft
A hart’s trail lost when strange lights
From the nearby falls take flight

A horse rears from the waters, eyes aflame
She knows its name and falters
Myth made flesh charging for her

Her spear struck true yet could not wound the beast
Facing defeat, still she fought
Hiding fear that ‘twas for naught

Though her strength is waning fast, hope yet gleams
The monster screams at long last
As she dives ‘neath it and past

With her back against the falls, whisper’d prayer
The phantom mare spins, takes pause
Plunges into the pool, stalls

And vanishes ‘neath river’s rough surface
She waits, nervous, considers
And dives in, and then shivers

No trace remains of the horse, the pool clear
Clutching her spear, at a loss
Fearful, she knows not the source

Of the monster fey and strange and deathless
Gone the menace, forest changed
Back from keffyl-dwvyr’s rage
