a strange effect of hrt (i assume?) is that there are now black hairs on my stomach. my hair on my head is gingery/brownish and used to be blond when i was a small child. where did the black come from.

no idea if it is bc of the hrt, but i never used to have black body hairs.

also my nose hairs seem to grow longer or thicker or something now, which feels awful and is causing me sensory issues 😭 i don't want to have to trim my nose hairs bc it's hard and annoying, but if i don't do it every so often then i end up scratching at my nostrils until they bleed so um. don't like this lol.

oh interesting, i thought that the scots "braw" must have been a loanword from gaelic and be cognate with the irish "breá" and welsh "braf", but "bra" is a word in swedish that means the same/similar so i guess it's not from gaelic/a celtic root?? i will have to investigate further.

ooh the swedish comes from low german "brav" which comes from french "brave" which comes from italian "bravo". the welsh "braf" also comes from the french (i assume from the norman invasion??).
