.... it's actually incredibly easy to apply for a passport, why did i put it off for so long.... i mean i have to send them a bunch of documents in the post now but the online application was actually ok..?? even with my change of name and gender....??

kind of terrified for the orchestra concert ngl, i'm really not at a good enough standard i just like playing the dvořák. allegedly we're supposed to be joined by 2 more bassoons at some point so i'm hoping they'll play more competently than me and that one of them will also play the bassoon 2 part to cover the hard bits i can't play

spent the last few months thinking my oboe can't play the low b flat bc it doesn't have the low b flat key, and i just realised it has 2 holes on the bell joint that i'm supposed to close with my knees to play the note. that's hilarious.
