welp cohost is shutting down, and club penguin is gone now. im gonna give toontown a try
#ty things
oh man last week of cohost. now it feels real, and im feeling that dread that comes from something ending. its like graduating college and knowing that this is the last time u will ever see all ur friends together in one place
anyways im working on a chiptune version of closing time by semisonic. if i'm gonna say my goodbyes to this site, i might as well be cheesy about it
also saw cool world the other day. i knew it was gonna be bad, but i wasnt fully prepared for how bad it would be. complete mess from beginning to end. uses las "sin city" vegas as a setting for its story that has a sex scene as a plot point and seemingly has nothing to say about it besides "sex is forbidden between certain people." despite being a horny movie, its surprisingly un-raunchy in a way i cant explain. roger rabbit somehow felt more risque. also brad pitt's acting is so bad i felt pain whenever he was on screen
saw curse of the were rabbit for the first time in a while. a fun retelling of the strange case of dr jekyll and mr hyde. a common reading of the robert louis stevenson penned classic that has emerged in recent decades is that it is an allegory for sexuality, with dr jekyll representing a closeted gay man blending in with a heteronormative soveity and mr hyde representing his out and proud alter ego who emerges at night and acts on his urges that must be repressed during daylight. there's more sexual innuendo in were rabbit than i remember, so there's much to think about
