i'd like to make an addendum to this statement; my good friend who's watching my playthrough of SA1 said that the game is very camp, which is not only incredibly true and correct, it kind of hit me that the average Sonic enjoyer probably does not view the game in the same light. they are also the only creature who understands Sonic

my two main thoughts after watching the whole thing:

1. like i said in the original post, the show is alright. not great, not terrible. perfectly alright
2. i'm the only Sonic fan on the internet who's able to have fun with perfectly alright Sonic media

i think i need to beat Egg Viper before i go to bed tonight bc if i don't i'll hear Eggman shouting "GET A LOAD OF THIS!!!" in my nightmares
