And like, Armored Core 6. Fuck I love these games. Sekiro's timing-base gameplay can go sit over in a corner; I don't want to have to do it your way (parrying), I want to do it my way (using Blasphemous Blade's Taker's Flame skill to cheese my way through the latter 2/3s of the game.)
I also just really enjoy the smooth dance of AC6. Very fun to glide around and blow shit up.
New(ish) review up at Entertainium: Capes will please turn-based tactics fans holding out for a hero
My most recent @Entertainium review covered a game which I found to be a pleasant surprise - Spitfire Interactive's superhero-based turn-based tactics game Capes.
Capes lacks the epic grandeur of XCOM 2 or the sheer scale of Midnight Suns, and some may rue the lack of a strategic layer. Nevertheless, Spitfire Interactive have delivered some extremely engaging battles in a new, likeable superhero setting. Plus, there is something to be said for a tactics game which can be tackled in a shorter time. All fans of the genre should definitely check out this superheroic showdown.
Even as a person who is almost entirely uninterested in superheroes, Capes held my attention throughout. It has a quite novel take on turn-based tactics, and its missions are consistently challenging. It's very much worth a look.
