With the impending remake of Riven, I was thinking about more times that are impossible to go back to. Duckman: The Graphic Adventures of a Private Dick represents that bygone era perfectly. Based on the cartoon, voiced by Seinfeld star Jason Alexander, the PC point-and-click follows that exact spirit, though not even the actor wanted to reprise the role.
Unless you're deep into Gen X, the permeating blasé attitude, dash of sexism and other outdated nihilism is probably going to dissuade many from partaking in the otherwise sound and colorful adventure. It even has music by Tommy Tallarico. Oof!
