I wrote 1500ish words a few years ago about how a particular moment in Mass Effect 3 critically hit my feelings, and thus it forever has a lifetime pass from me. It was written fairly close to the game's original release, so I wrote it to lessen spoilers. Another post on here reminded me of this, and thought some folks might appreciate some navel-gazing about ME3.

I cannot find who it was #onhere who said to play Leap Year but I took that advice and it was fun! The whole game is like 2 hours long. Ignore that if we're Steam friends it said I've played for over 3, it's definitely for cool reasons and not because I got hopelessly lost trying to figure out how to get #27.

I do feel a bit sad that I have 56 hours in Elden Ring and seemingly have little to show for it. Though I suppose it doesn't help that instead of following the game's guidance I just fucked off and started methodically clearing all of Limgrave.
I hope all the Elden Ring freaks enjoy their new DLC, though!
In Final Fantasy xiv, there's this piece of content called Eureka, it is an island of four large zones. It is a very challenging place where there is a separate leveling system where leveling is slow and the enemies are really tough. What's interesting and also frustrating is that Eureka emulates the dangers of FF11, the previous MMO. Unless you are a tank, it is highly recommended you party with people in the same zone so you can grab multiple enemies and grind for exp. Otherwise you would often fight enemies one on one and leveling like that is god awful. Having done some Eureka as a healer and was avoiding partying, I found it boring tedious. After watching a video by Pint, I learned that it's actually more fun and survivable to play as a tank, a Warrior specifically. I finally finished the first zone last night and have started the second zone which is considered to be the make or break it zone where it has the fewest amount of people and a lot more challenging than the last.
I'm actually enjoying this content now and teaming up with others is certainly a must.
Ah and here is a video by Pint that got me back into trying it again. I recommend it, it's pretty funny with great editing.
