Back when I was a kid and played Donkey Kong Country 2 I remember thinking the sunset/sky in the Game Over screen was actually fire and meant to represent the Kremlings outside burning Donkey Kong alive to celebrate their victory (thus the screen turning red) after Diddy & Dixie were captured and jailed. Welcum 2 my sick n twisted mind.........

Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice!
