I haven't been interested in playing a Call of Duty game released since Blops IIII and that seems to still be the case. Granted I'm the type to only really want to play the campaign, so naturally I'd stop at the point they decided to not do that lingering singleplayer feature for one game. And then they did Modern Warfare Reboot, a.k.a. the game that got mutilated into a Warzone client with an optional install for the actual game people bought in the first place. I did attempt to play it once because there was a copy pre-installed on the Xbone I got secondhand, but it really wanted me to log in with some kinda ActiBlizzard account or whatever and I didn't feel like dealing with linking accounts I didn't have just to look at a singleplayer mode. I am still interested in playing the older games though, like I have a copy of WWII from a bundle plus some old disc copies of 1 and 2 I found for cheap, among a couple other picks I'd skipped over previously in my campaign of campaigns. Just when I'm in the mood for action movie FPS stuff.

was Geoff Keighley getting up on stage and calling out the big publishers for firing everyone and then factually showing that 8 of the top 10 best selling games this year have all been from indie studios.
The absolute insane number of new indie games shown off this weekend at SGF, PC Game Show, Summer Next Fest, Wholesome Games Show this year is a fantastic fuck you to the likes of EA and Microsoft.
