this post doesn't have any concrete spoilers, but i am talking about my basic opinions of animal well and the overall structure of the game, including hidden stuff, after completing it. so if you want to go in with zero information, skip this post.

I'm about two hours into the game and I'm absolutely loving it so far; it feels like something tailor-made to my exact weird-ass tastes.

an immersive sim/dungeon crawler with SS1-style controls and UI, Lovecraftian horror elements, a great soundtrack, RE-style limited saves, fun characters, interesting systems… I absolutely adore this. so far this is my GotY for 2024, and until Karyogenesys comes out I don't think there's even any competition.

there are currently some bugs to be ironed out, and performance is… bad, but with some patches this is looking absolutely fantastic.
