I'm reading through this book about the first Animal Crossing (though it doesn't seem to be widely available yet? I got it through a crowdfunding campaign, so I guess that got me "early access" or whatever) and the author mentioned taking digital pictures of their rooms to share online, and I felt like doing the same with my era-appropriate digital camera.

My first floor ended up being a sort of museum with the second floor being a slightly more "normal" room. And then the basement is a basement. I've made some minor adjustments over the years, but everything is largely the same as I ended up leaving it in 2003 or whenever.

Sweet adrenaline, it happened.

It probably shouldn't have taken 55+ hours to do it, but I finally completed a run of Roboquest! My explosives build did a pretty good amount of heavy-lifting and I would have cracked during the final boss without my Gorilla Bolter's rocket jump alt fire (it + Hero Cape made avoiding missile barrages fairly easy).

Apparently, there are difficulties beyond Hard. From watching Roboquest content on YT, I know these other difficulties go from Guardian 1 to Guardian 4. Basically, it's like Dead Cells' Stem Cells. I don't know if I can handle it using a controller, though it'll be interesting/frustrating finding out for myself.

This game is getting slotted into my top 25 for sure. I can't get enough of it. I'm like a broken record at this point, but it has some of the best gunplay of any game I've played. Right up there with Max Payne 3, DOOM 2016 and Destiny 2.
