my dad sent me this pocket trumpet he found for $20 and i can finally use a wah mute without dislocating my shoulder trying to reach my short arms around a full size trumpet

Welp. Today could have gone better.

I'm trying not to compare myself to other people but for once this would be an instance of me being better than them. The bar was on the floor and they fumbled. It was just sad to watch.

So happy birthday to me. I got myself new headphones. To be honest I'm not even sure why. I haven't had nice ones in a long time I guess.

it does bum me out how much stuff starts happening before my shift is done and how many places are closed (or closing up, i dont wanna get in their way) by the time i would be able to get there... i guess its just fomo or whatever
