I don't know why Brian Wilson decided that the old folk song Shortnin' Bread needed a synth heavy wall of sound cover, but I think he was right?
#wall of sound
so it's a good time to pick up some quail tunes so we can:
A: make more
and
2: afford bulk cat litter orders
here's a fun chill jam where we let Alan go fucking buckwild with the reverb on his violin
story time - we were working on a different song entirely but the DAW crashed; while I was waiting for the computer to reboot I accidentally noodled the guitar riff heard in this song and then we pivoted and made a whole ass song around it while we were supposed to be doing something else. Procrastination shouldn't provide rewards but what can you do? Also there's a video version where you get to watch timelapses of Josh, Erin, Alan (and Jen!) and myself doing various things in our day to day, but that's not on bandcamp so it's less important for the purposes of today.
