a fine day for hot chocolate, yes?

the concept of "hot chocolate" has always appealed to me more than the reality of it, which is an overly sweet confection that coats your teeth. its taste? fine. only fine. i also keep my added sugar intake fairly low, and outside of social drinking, mostly just prefer to stick to water.

so on gloriously drab days like this i wish i could consume the feeling of hot chocolate without drinking hot chocolate. maybe in another guise or vessel, but a cozy, warm drink that somehow enhances the quiet and solitude of rain. a drink that powers-up your mood without making you act the fool. that sounds nice! in the meantime, well...

boring, but at least it keeps me alive. i need to play the long game if i'm to one day discover my rainy day elixir.
