horrifying realisation: I have no idea how to visualise them actually using their scythe thing...

off I go looking up footage to study...

at least one comment under every single fucking video: "actually scythes are incredibly impractical as weapons"

at the risk of sounding cringe OKAY IN FAIRNESS the datacutter is both kind of Less and More dangerous than a scythe.

the crescent moon shape of the blade definitely feels a bit Strange considering it's more of a hook than a scythe blade. it being double ended also possibly presents a danger to the user but I obviously didn't invent that and it looks cool

at the same time the outer side of the blade is also sharp and has these spikes on it, which would Probably make it a bit more versatile.

the main use of it is less 1-on-1 combat but to hook and slice connection between processes and between processes and their hosts First, and direct damage to the integrity of other processes Second

I'm no weapon designer, hell you can probably tell I didn't actually look at a scythe when thinking about the design of it...
