Otherwise this new convertible laptop has actually been quite good! I'm typing on it right now! I have root on ZFS on LUKS and that's new for me too!
It works the closest to an Android or iOS keyboard and it doesn't flash windows to direct the typing focus.
It's still not great... I think I would have a better experience on a different DE that ships its own on-screen keyboard.
if your Linux distribution doesn't package Onboard then you should find a third-party repository that does.
