I've noticed just a combo of creators I've followed bringing it up as well as noticing my own behaviours that, it feels like people are pining for more Old School videos. I just read a comment on a Brain David Gilbert video that was like:
"Hell yeah, this is an OLD SCHOOL Youtuber, no schedule, no consistency in subject matter or form, just PERSONALITY"
Like that's wild innit? Cos you couldn't call the subject of BDG's videos like anything but contemporary. So people arn't being 100% honest there, but also I get it? I have really gone back to old YT habits like, I started watching Beard Bros and Continue? again lol with the caveat that these people have AGED which reflects in the shows subject and I've been casting a net for more Let's Plays and honestly? Even modern stuff like Vtubers I watch Vods like a Let's Play anyway?
And with how many furries cannot stop posting about SGF very specifically lol I don't think it's just me!
