the entire business model is so hostile that any attempt to enforce it is met with an arms race of how to block more ads.
i do not blame the people blocking ads. i blame the false future of promise built on a flawed monetization schema that is destroying lives.

Kuro, the new Vtuber with VShojo, noted that part of what got him started with the company was Ironmouse and CEO Justin “Gunrun” Ignacio helping him with his tax issues. He mentioned considering doing his own thing, but reached out to associates for assistance when he was about $350,000 in debt due to taxes. Because of Ironmouse reaching out, that led to him eventually becoming the first male Vtuber with the company.
How can you possibly own THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND JESUS CHRIST DOLLARS in taxes!? How do you get that much debt is so little time (considering how young the average streamer is)? How don't you have a single adult in your life to tell you how things work!?!?!
