Yeah, I’m still trying to find my footing here but I went through the same process on tumblr tbh. Only difference is that tumblr has had years to accumulate talented artists, writers, bloggers etc while cohost hasn’t been around as long. I’m gonna try and stay active purely to encourage other users that this place is worth sticking around for. At least for as long as I can find posts I like

Have been dealing with similar circumstances on my side of things, but I am presently handling the issue experimentally via pulling things from Tumblr that I liked and posting them here (with proper tagging and attributions, of course - I'm not interested in stealing peoples' stuff). Been posting them to various tags, then looking at the people who like/share that content to find people with similar tastes/interests. It's been a slow process, but I've found some people to follow already and I feel like I'm adding enrichment to the site ecosystem in the meantime. Might work for you too?

I got here yesterday and it definiely is a little harder than finding stuff on tumblr, but i think its bc like @snailbear said tumblr had a whole lot more to present that I might like
