SRW's greatest power is to make me pop off for basically any show no matter what (every time Kira and the Freedom descend over Orb it is in fact very cool, thank you Fukuda) but as much as I adored the extremely cool and sensible crossover based on both shows' technobabble where Haruto Valvrave triumphantly saves Shanghai and gives the Zegapain gang a win in DD, it is still extremely hard to ignore that he is still Haruto Valvrave lmao.
DD's crossover writing does rock pretty hard though, it's just unfortunately a mobile gacha game too. There's so much charm to how they handle Kyo Zegapain and the way he bounces off the rest of the teenage cast (he has a good funny man/straight man rapport going on Inaho Aldnoah). Also it's so good that there's a world where Grendizer is happening at the same time as Aldnoah.Zero, where the Vers Empire also seriously and sincerely view Banjo Haran as the Greatest Traitor to Mars.
