First thing, these gundam designs are so dope! Are they culturally insensitive... perhaps... but they are very fun, unique and silly!

I've been watching the sub version up until episode 35ish, and two things happened. One, I was curious what the dub sounds like. Two, I was too lazy to get the controller to switch.

I noticed that in the dub they changed gundam names around for some reason. I wish they kept God Gundam (Burning Gundam), Devil Gundam (Dark Gundam), Tequila Gundam (Spike Gundam), John Bull Gundam (Royal Gundam), and Sundam Spiegel (Shadow Gundam). Tequilla Gundam is my personal favorite Basically anything related to Christianity is also removed. There are moves relating to heaven that's been changed too. All I want to know is why the changes? The one change I will accept is Matador Gundam (Toro Gundam), because it is more Bull than a Matador.

The dub does add more to the ridiculousness of G Gundam. For example, in order to match the lips the dub needs to extend the original sentence. So, instead of getting "I got it!", we will get "Ok, I got it!, I can do this!". And you will notice this every single time. It does take a bit getting use to it. However, I do believe you get a better experience watching G Gundam dub.
