A doll and a witch at a concert!
It's loud! As to be expected!
The last song of the set list comes to its conclusion. Their voices are hoarse, their arms are burning from waving penlights, and their legs are sore from standing and cheering to the rhythm.
The band members are waving - a farewell - and the curtains are closing.
The doll's expression falters.
In the dim lights, it suddenly seems...
So far away.
It doesn't even join in the calls for an encore.
Its witch notices - and places a hand on its head.
It looks up at her.
A sympathetic smile shared between them.
The lights flare back to life, a rainbow of colors showering down on the audience -
Bathing both doll and witch in its glow.
The crowd roars to life as one more song begins to play as the curtain parts one more time.
It's time for the performance's spectacle, heralded by reflective streamers exploding forth into the air.
The song will burn through the air, gradually reaching its apex chorus.
But the witch buries her doll in her arms.
And she squeezes it tightly.
And it squeezes tightly in return.
More than just getting the chance to see this concert...
They're glad that they could share this moment.
Lost in each other's embrace, sound enough to drown out the rest of the world -
In this moment, all they need is each other.
