It was probably related to the coilheart games, those checks are just barely not 100% with endgame stats
i fell off for a long time and am not yet endgame, but yeah i think it was tiger olympics related
The Coilheart checks are scaled to your base stats, so they're likely to be "pretty good odds but not quite 100%" for most players across the board
Every time I'm like "oh, I don't need to optimize this one, surely I can't fail a 96% check" and then I fail the 96% check
we failed so many 92%s in disco elysium in a row that i started to wince every time we rolled one
oh my god i'm already fuming upwards from whiffing my 90% checks far more than legally allowed (CURSE YOU PERSUASIVE STAT CHECKS) and i can't imagine the utter rage you'd felt from that
