At first Lord Fassa cursed his treacherous servants. Later he begged them for mercy. But they never heard his voice at all, for the flames they set about his mansion leapt high, and roared like the sea.

The butterfly is based on the Rajah Brooke's birdwing, which is kinda cliche for a Malaysian butterfly, but too pretty to pass up.
The spider is a generic jumping spider. I think I've made it a bit too big---it wasn't meant to be such a focus. Oh well.
Got to remember to take breaks. I finished this past midnight and my back hurts. Going to lie down, and stretch, and sleep.
