Another week, another not-dungeon. Well: it is a dungeon, but I mostly stayed on its exterior.
This is a further explication of Yellow-Tooth funerary rites, first mentioned in January. It is also the island where Mas-Mas, poor captured husband, is from.
Once again I think I've spent too much time on the illustration, to the detriment of its accompanying text. It's easy to get lost in drawing tiny houses and stupas and silly cats. I suppose the overall idea---
Dead people get cooked and ritually served to priestly tigers
---is outre enough to be interesting on its own? But I could've made more gameable, powder-keg-y stuff.
But it is fun to draw. And I am pleased with little Hari-Hari, there on the top of the page: in his lotus pose, standing on his tail.
