if you want to play an old-school horror mystery ADV visual novel, this is the game for you. i won't spoil too much about the premise because it gets the ball rolling very quickly. you'll know the game's for you just from the first hour.

all i'll say is the game's very good at leading you on and making sure you want to see more. there are also some silly Metal Gear Solid-styled meta mechanics if you like that shit. the 360 degree ui and the adv mechanics are clearly well-thought, which shouldn't be surprising as the creator's been in the ADV scene for a long while.

i thoroughly enjoyed the game from start to finish. and the way the work tackles different mechanics, ideas, and stories is no short of impressive. by the end of the work, i ended up getting hit by the feels but not in the way i expected from a mystery work. it's ... surprisingly literary, i feel.

as a mystery adv, it’s a bit on the obvious side. the mastermind is likely the first person you’d think of if you read a few mysteries. but the presentation and The Ride slap so hard that i don’t mind.

it’s a really fun title and i do like how the ending feels similar to Chaos;Child in a way.

i would seriously recommend the title. it's getting rave reviews for good reason. i wouldn't be surprised if i put this title as a contender for a Good Title of 2023. it's honestly that good.

I pre-ordered it and keep meaning to take a break from Labyrinth of Galleria to start it, but I can't quite get myself to do so yet. Hopefully by this weekend, as it looks/sound great!

Just finished this. Considering how concise it is, its a really neat package. it has a lot of elements of other VNs ive enjoyed (Danganronpa, 13 Sentinels, AI: The Somnium Files).

I don't think anything writing-wise will floor me as much as Umineko, but also PARANORMASIGHT isnt hundreds of hours of prose and metanarrative so cant really compare the two.

a neat game with a very fair asking price
